High Molybdenum Alloys

High molybdenum alloys are metallic alloys with elevated molybdenum (Mo) content—often above 4%, and in specialty alloys, up to 50% or more. Molybdenum greatly enhances mechanical strength, corrosion resistance, and high-temperature stability. These alloys can be based on molybdenum, nickel (as in Inconel), stainless steel, or even contain additional elements such as tungsten, rhenium, niobium, and others.
